The black kitten is a baby cat in its first stange of growth and is the starting pet for the sorcerer and sorceress. No wild black kittens (or any cat) can be found in the dungeon.
There is no distinguishable difference in abilities between a black kitten, a sunny kitten, and a tabby kitten.
