The disenchanter is a dreaded creature found only in the deepest levels of the dungeon. It has a unique melee attack that may remove enchantments and blessings from equipment and items.

Traits[]
Disenchanters have been observed to have the following abilities or behaviours:
- Alignment: Neutral;
- Attack: Disenchant. Chance of disenchanting one of the victims items (equipped or not), reducing its enchantment by one, inflicting a negative enchantment or one negation of dweomer (blessed to uncursed, uncursed to cursed);
- Warning: A Genie Lamp can be converted to a normal oil lamp via Disenchant. You will know this happened because the lamp description "The oil seems to last forever" will go away and instead will reflect an extremely high number of minutes of remaining oil.
- Stats: Values in the infobox were observed in-game. Other values may be possible.
Tips[]
- The wand of cancellation will negate its disenchantment ability;
- Both striking the disenchanter with a handheld weapon and being struck by the disenchanter will cause the disenchanting effect;
- Caution! If not dealt with correctly, the disenchanter can be one of the most devastating enemies in the entire dungeon.
