The large boxer is a fully grown boxer in its third and final stage of growth. Although initially hostile, the player may opt to feed it via the pet menu, which will result in turning it into a pet.
There is no distinguishable difference between a large Boxer, a large Dalmatian, and a large Labrador.

Large boxers have been observed to have the following abilities or behaviours:
- Alignment: Neutral;
- Attack: Bite, melee damage;
- Diet: Carnivore. Will not eat vegetable and fruit produce, will however, eat bread;
- Inventory: Can detect cursed items, will growl if a cursed item is detected;
- Inventory: Cannot carry cursed items;
- Movement: Cannot climb up ladders, will fall down ladders.
