The potion of oil is primarily used to refill a lamp or to poured onto items. It can also be poured onto a (cursed) weapon can cause it to become too slippery to hold onto for a short while. This potion is also slightly lighter than all other potions.

- Potions can be sold to the shopkeeper;
- Unidentified potions can be identified by a shopkeeper with two stalls;
- Potions of oil will always be a black potion, although other black potions many not always be a potion of oil;
- Using a potion of oil on an equipped cursed weapon will help remove it from being equipped.
