- A negative enchantment will increase the enchantment by +1, +2, +3, or +4;
- A non-negative enchantment below 3 will increase the enchantment by +1, +2, or +3;
- An enchantment below 6 will increase the enchantment by +1, or +2;
- A enchantment of 6 will increase the enchantment by +1;
- [Tested] Restores armour that has been subject to corrosion or rot.
Uncursed[]
- Reading this scroll will grant a +1 enchantment to any equipped armour chosen at random.
Cursed[]
- Reading this scroll will grant a -1 enchantment to any equipped armour chosen at random.
Burnt[]
- Untested.
Confused[]
- While a blessed scroll will make the armour immutable (... smells like ozone! ... now looks impregnable! ... is surrounded by a pink glow!);
- Reading an uncursed scroll will result in casting the effects of a scroll of repair armour instead.
Glow[]
After a piece of armour is enchanted a message will appear stating the armour was surrounded by either a golden glow or red glow:
- Golden glow: The armour can be safely enchanted again;
- Red glow: The armour will be destroyed if additional enchanting is attempted.
Tips[]
- This paper scroll is susceptible to fire and may burn;
- Scrolls can be sold to the shopkeeper;
- It is inadvisable to read unidentified scrolls;
- To enchant a specific piece of armour with an uncursed scroll of enchant armour, remove all equipped armour except for the piece to enchant (not recommended, it's best to bless it first);
- Caution! Armour found with a high level enchantment (generally +7 or higher) may be destroyed if any enchanting is attempted;
- A +7 is the limit for enchanting armour. However, enchanting to a max of +7 and then having a blacksmith forge the armour into a powerful suit of armour or a clothier into a powerful robe, will result in a +8 enchantment;
- Enchant armour scrolls will also repair damaged armour and remove a curse on the item.
