The unidentified golden armour suit is extremely heavy and also quite valuable. Considering its weight it offers poor protection by comparison. It still inhibit spellcasting. Probably about as much as a normal suit of plate armor.
Obtained From[]
- Dwarf King (always worn);
- Ogre King (large size, always carried though not worn, +1 enchantment).
Tips[]
- This metal armour inhibits spellcasting;
- Although heavy, it fetches a high price if sold to the blacksmith or shopkeeper. Especially if enchanted;
- As gold does not rust, the suit of gold plate armour cannot be rustproofed by the blacksmith;
- A suit of plate armour may be transformed into a suit of gold plate armour if put inside a Midas bag;
- Gold armour are unaffected by gold transformation effects of the Midas bag.
- The armor will automatically be resized to normal. (Or potentially whatever size the player character is. When I threw in a suit of large plate armor from an ogre lord, it resized to normal.)
