The wicker man is magical construct found in mid-level dungeons. It is the starting construct of the druidess, if the player wishes to do so.

- Depths of 500 feet;
- Depths of 240-590 metres;
- Gnome Mines;
- Summoned as polymorph construct using (the druidess may summon one in the beginning of the game).

Traits[]
Wicker men have been observed to have the following abilities or behaviours:
- Alignment: Neutral;
- Diet: Omnivore;
- Health: Does not heal;
- Resistance: Change;
- Resistance: Cold;
- Resistance: Poison;
- Weakness: Cancellation;
- Weakness: Fire.
Instant Kill[]
The following methods will instantly kill a wicker man, due to its weakness to cancellation and fire:
- Casting a fireball spell;
- Zapping or throwing a wand of cancellation;
- Zapping or throwing a wand of fire.
Polypiling[]
The wickerman can be created from a technique known as polypiling by dropping 3 wood-based items and shooting them with a wand of polymorph. When created by polypiling they are tame and you get experience from their kills they are quite useful companions as they are craftable and do not need to eat. The amount of wicker men that can be created depends on how high the player's level is in the beast mastery talent. The wicker man may pickup items that were zapped at the moment of its construction.
Tips[]
- Conversely, when fighting a wicker man, a flery greatsword or fire stone will make quick work of these enemies;
- The wickerman is not a plant. Sickles has no special effect against them and does normal damage.
